Who Else Wants to Watch 3D on Your Samsung DLP 3D Ready Television?
Let me share with you a story I heard about your Samsung DLP 3D ready television.
You have to use a Mitsubishi adapter to watch television on your Samsung. DLP 3D TV.
It’s true…
…and I’ll explain as you read each word of this article exactly how this drama played out and the step by step method you can use to watch 3D TV on your 3D ready Samsung DLP.
You see, a rumor has circulated around the internet like a housewife’s gossip…
…and this in only a rumor.
A few years ago, Samsung and Mitsubishi joined forces to make compatible 3D televisions.
These televisions were distributed to the home theater markets in 2007, 2008, and 2009 and were designed to display 3D in “checkerboard” format.
Here’s where their problems began.
Unbeknownst to both companies, checkerboard formatting did not become the conduit which other companies used to display 3D.
Blu-ray, DirecTV, and Sony decided against using the “checkerboard” format.
Which left Samsung and Mitsubishi 3D ready televisions with a huge compatibility issue.
So…
Mitsubishi decided to design and produce an adapter for those 3d television sets made in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
And here’s where the joint venture splintered inside the board rooms.
According to housewife gossip, Samsung refused to pay Mitsubishi their licensing fees for the compatibility adapter right before they brought the adapter to market.
And this is all rumor of course…Mitsubishi scoffed at their joint venture partner Samsung and produced the adapter without the Samsung capability built in.
And if you own one of these Samsung DLP 3D ready televisions, you might just have steam pillowing from your ears right now.
But there is good news for Samsung DLP 3D ready television owners.
You can still use the Mitsubishi adapter on your Samsung.
Let me show you how….
You see…
In November 2010, Mitsubishi released a second adapter, which will work for Samsung DLP 3D ready televisions.
Unlike the adapter 3DA-1, which you could buy as a standalone product, this one was released in a kit.
So you had to purchase two pairs of glasses along with the emitter. And to make matters worse, this second emitter seems to emit a much weaker signal.
And it was only available from the company’s website for $450.00 click here to see it.
Here’s the kicker…
Mitsubishi owners can get that adapter all by itself if they choose, however the Samsung owners are stuck buying their adapter in a kit for a huge mark up.
As a Samsung DLP 3D ready television owner you have two choices.
Option #1) Shell out the $450.00 for the Mitsubishi adapter and outdated 3D glasses.
OR
Option #2) Purchase a Panasonic 3D Blu-Ray player and then snag our HIGH POWER 3D emitter and as many of our Blick 3d Compatible glasses you need.
